HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) increases levels of oxygen in the body’s blood plasma. This contributes to higher quantities of oxygen being delivered to the body’s organs, tissue and brain. Hyperbaric oxygen is the only repair drug for neurological conditions. It stimulates DNA to produce growth and repair hormones and the protein receptors on cells that respond to these hormones. Repetitive exposure to hyperbaric oxygen causes new blood vessels to grow, and it can metabolically energize the cells. The body’s cells need oxygen to survive. The increased pressure provided by HBOT enriches plasma with oxygen and thus helps damaged or injured tissue to heal more quickly.

Due to increased oxygen at the cellular level, HBOT can:

  • Increase relaxation
  • Stimulate the body’s ability to heal
  • Improve fatigue
  • Fight infections
  • Preserve damaged tissue
  • Help with sleeping problems
  • Reduce swelling and inflammation
  • Help the body and brain function properly
  • Increase blood supply
  • Permanently change the brain
  • Stimulate collagen production
  • Stimulate stem cell growth
